Daniel asks…
How does flying from Paris, France, to Mexico City, Mexico, has anything to do with flying thru U.S. Airspace?
Man arrested on warrant after flight diverted
http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2010-05-31-flight-warrant-arrest_N.htm
How did the flight manage to get diverted all the way north to Montreal, Canada?
Who was that “man” and what was the arrest warrant about?
The other thing you should notice is the Arrest Warrant was a U.S. Warrant so why was the plane diverted to Montreal instead of just landing somewhere in the United States?

Players Club Tours answers:
The airplane had to fly over the US because it was the fastest route to Mexico so it had to be cleared by the US government. The man had a warrant and thus was on the no fly list and if a flight has a person on the no fly list it can’t be in American airspace. So to get to Mexico it had to remove the person.
