Are taxis readily available at Macau airport and ferry terminals?
I know there are taxis in Macau airport but are they readily available? I read somewhere that it’s hard to get a cab… I need one to get to my hotel when I’m there.
How about taxis in the Ferry Terminal? I’ll be going to Hong Kong then going back to Macau and to Macau airport from the Ferry Terminal.
i checked the hotel website they only have shuttle bus from hotel to ferry terminal, not airport to hotel. that’s not the part i’m worried though, i’m just worried that there are no taxis at the ferry terminal and i might miss my flight. the timings for expresslink is either too early or too late.

Taxi are availabe at both ferry terminal and airport. But you need to wait on line. It depends on the time and day. The line could be very long at taxi stop that you may need to 15 to 30 minutes if it is really busy.
There are a lot of taxi in Macau, but there are even more people taking taxi. Sometime it is hard to get an empty taxi.
For transportation between the hotel and Ferry terminate/airport, there is a good chance that your hotel provides a free hotel bus. Almost all 4 stars hotel or up have free bus service between ferry terminal.
