I would recommend not booking your airfare through the cruise line. It is quite a bit more expensive. Yes, if the flight is late getting into Baltimore, the cruise ship will wait for you. However, what I do is I fly into the port city the day before and stay at a hotel that offers free shuttle service to the port. Alot less stressful, you can relax a bit after your flight, you can pick up those little things you forgot to pack(we all do) without paying the high price on the ship. Even paying for a hotel room. Your overall cost will still be lower than booking through the cruise line. And you get to pick when you leave. With the cruise line booking your flight, you have no say in chosing the times of the flights. All you get to do is tell them which airport you want to fly out of.
